Open House: May 10th and May 17th from 10 AM - 3 PM
Come meet the director and staff, take a tour around the grounds, see the cabins, and play some games! There will be a raffle and prizes for campers and refreshments!

Camp Kota is dedicated to the promotion of adolescent growth of each of their campers through fun, respect, trust, and team building opportunities they will experience during their stay at camp. Campers will leave with amazing memories, new found friendships, and a level of self confidence they didn't know they had!
Camp Kota believes in the power of being together as humans without the internet inbetween. We strive to create a world where children will be "unplugged" for a week to experience what friendships and summer camp has to offer!
Campers will be with certified and experienced staff that will take them on amazing adventures, teach life lessons through leading by example, and create a caring a comforting environment for all kids!
This is our inaugural year!
Camp Kota is a dream come true for owner and director Melissa Luke. She grew up at camp starting as a camper herself and working her way up to leadership roles such as counselor, group leader, and athletic coordinator. She is currently in her 10th year of teaching as an 8th Grade mathematics teacher at Nathan Hale-Ray Middle School.
Camp has never left Melissa. Once a camper, always a camper. She looks forward to seeing campers this summer and creating the same experience of lifelong memories, leadership, and communication skills that she was fortunate to have.
Camp Kota has gone through the rigorous process of making sure camp is ready to open! Melissa has worked with the town officials on planning and zoning and the fire marshall doing walk throughs, the Chatham Health District for food preparation and serving, and going through the state in order to obtain all the proper licenses.
Camp Kota is a member of the American Camp Association and will be looking to become accredited this summer. Accerediation only happens after the first year when there is an actual visit. We work very closely with all of the ACA standards.
Bully and Drama Free Zone
Camp Kota is committed to creating a positive summer experience for all campers! We have a strict, zero-tolerance policy for bullying and drama that may intrude on a campers stay and experience at Camp Kota.
Camp Kota strives to create an environment where all campers can be themselves and never worry about bullying or drama.
Activities and Programs
Our programs and activitie are extensive. Each camper gets to choose their daily activities the night before hand with their counselor in order to give each camper the opportunity to try differnent things! Please check out out website for camp activities and theme weeks!
